  • Monday to Friday/Saturdays and Sundays 
     

  • Day/evening appointments
     

  • Face to face, video call or phone sessions

     

How long are sessions?
 

  • A standard counselling session is 50 minutes

How many sessions will I need?

This is up to you and you're in control of this. I can't predict how long therapy will take for you to feel better and its important to consider that therapy takes time. For some people, short term is suitable (around eight sessions) to help them feel better, for others medium or long term therapy is more beneficial.

Do I have to commit to a certain number of sessions?

Therapy can be life changing and empowering and bring about an understanding of yourself and others which can really enhance your life.  You don't have to commit to a certain number of sessions and can stop at any time if you feel the need.

How will I know when it's right to end therapy?

I will check with you regularly about how you're feeling, but you'll know when you feel ready to stop because you'll be in a place where you feel better and are moving forward. I only ask you talk to me about the reason for stopping therapy so we can have an appropriate and safe ending.
